The Jewish social action agency Bend the Arc has scheduled a meeting for Sunday, April 22 in San Francisco to review local campaigns that it might want to support in upcoming months.

“A Just Vote: Claim the Campaign” will be held from 2 to 4:30 p.m. in the Latino/Hispanic meeting room at the San Francisco Public Library, 100 Larkin St.

Organizers want people from the Jewish community to come together to learn about different social action campaigns that Bend the Arc can get behind in 2012 and 2013. Discuss-ions and voting will take place.

Bend the Arc is the new name of the merged agency formerly known as Progressive Jewish Alliance and Jewish Funds for Justice. Recent advocacy work has included supporting hotel workers, grocery workers and domestic workers.
