Personal computing innovator Mitchell Kapor will deliver the keynote address at the Business Leadership Council’s annual breakfast. The event takes place 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 16, at the Four Seasons Hotel, 757 Market St., San Francisco. The BLC is a program of the S.F.-based Jewish Com-munity Federation and Endowment Fund.
Founder of the Lotus Development Corporation and designer of Lotus 1-2-3 software, Kapor helped propel the high-tech boom in Silicon Valley. After leaving Lotus in 1987 as CEO, Kapor helped create startup companies through his current venture, Kapor Capital. As a philanthropist, he has focused on education, serving on the board of directors and as a major funder of the Level Playing Field Institute in San Francisco, among other boards. He also has his own S.F.-based family foundation.
