At Temple Isaiah, this camp is a central part of a vibrant and meaningful Jewish educational experience for youth. This two-week summer program for grades K–8 blends formal and informal Jewish learning in a fun and engaging way, enhancing each child’s connection to Temple Isaiah and strengthening their Jewish identity.

Through dynamic activities, music, outings and Shabbat celebrations, campers build lasting friendships and joyful Jewish memories. Many in the Jewish community trace their personal connection to Judaism back to summer camp, where they discovered a deeper sense of self and community while simply having fun being Jewish. Camp Kefli helps create that same experience for today’s children. Activities take place both on the synagogue campus and off-site, with age-appropriate programs led by caring and enthusiastic staff. The name “Kefli” comes from the Hebrew phrase ayzeh kef li (“I’m having a great time”)—capturing the spirit of fun, friendship and Jewish joy that defines the camp.
