Offers an undergraduate minor in Judaism and Jewish history, with modern Hebrew instruction at various levels. For more than 20 years, the program has served students from diverse backgrounds and is part of the broader Chico State Jewish experience, which includes Chico State Hillel/Jewish Student Union, the Rohr Chabad Jewish Center and Chabad Jewish Student Organization, a Jewish fraternity and two community synagogues (Congregation Beth Israel and the Chico Havurah). Students may take Hebrew with a native speaker and pursue courses and internships at Beth Israel and the Rohr Chabad Jewish Center.
