Offers an undergraduate minor focusing on classical Judaism and Jewish history with instruction in modern Hebrew at a variety of levels.  In addition to providing instruction for more than 20 years, for students of varying backgrounds, the program is part of a Chico State Jewish experience that includes the following: Chico State Hillel/Jewish Student Union, the Rohr Chabad Jewish Center and Chabad Jewish Student Organization, a Jewish fraternity and two community synagogues, Congregation Beth Israel and the Chico Havurah.  Students are able to take courses in Hebrew with a native speaker as well as courses and internships at Beth Israel and the Rohr Chabad Jewish Center.
