Gan HaLev Jewish Congregation of the San Geronimo Valley
Friendly spiritual home for people from a wide range of backgrounds and observance levels who seek to experience and observe Judaism in ways that are relevant to their lives. Programs take place mainly in the San Geronimo Valley and on Zoom. The small size fosters close connections as members explore what it means to be Jewish in America—culturally, ethically and spiritually.
The congregation is unaffiliated and post-denominational, with members from diverse religious backgrounds around the world. Weekly Friday night Shabbat gatherings on Zoom, along with holiday celebrations and Jewish education. Engages in year-round activities, including the Jewish American Fiction Book Club with the Fairfax Library, the Marin Interfaith Council and social justice work with the Marin Organizing Committee. Diverse community includes families with children, single parents, couples and single adults of all ages. Generally meets in person at the San Geronimo Valley Community Center, 6350 Sir Francis Drake Blvd., in central/west Marin County.
