A nonprofit Jewish cemetery created by the founders of Temple Sinai, Oakland (formerly First Hebrew Congregation of Oakland) in 1865. The cemetery is located at the top of Piedmont Avenue, next to Mountain View Cemetery. It offers traditional ground burial of caskets and urns, mausoleum entombment, cremation niches, and an on-site chapel for approximately 150 guests. The cemetery accommodates upright monuments, flush grave markers and memorial benches, depending on location. Owned and managed by Sinai Memorial Chapel.
