An open and inclusive Jewish community that invites all to explore and connect with Jewish traditions through learning, celebration and spirituality. The “come as you are, no experience necessary” environment encourages wandering or wondering Jews, their families and friends to discover what is personally meaningful.

Jewish Gateways offers open High Holiday services, other holiday celebrations, family learning and celebrations, meaningful adult learning, including adult bar or bat mitzvah and lifecycle events. This “community without walls” gathers in a variety of East Bay locations.

All are welcome, including those who are Jewish, Jew-ish or neither; singles, couples and families; those in interfaith, intercultural or multiracial relationships; Jews-by-choice; low-income households; adult children of interfaith families; members of the LGBTQ+ community and people of color.
