For the last two decades,  this committee has served as the focal point in Sonoma County on issues related to the State of Israel and the fate of Jewish people throughout the world. The purpose is CLEAR: Communicate, Learn, Educate others about Israel, Advocate for the Jewish people and Respond to anti-Semitism.

Activities are held throughout the year.  Each year, the committee organizes the countywide celebration of Israel’s Independence Day and as well as a countywide memorial for those who died in service to the Jewish people, in conjunction with local synagogues and temples. In addition to providing the county with programming on Israel throughout the year, the committee also provides programming related to antisemitism throughout the world and other matters affecting the Jewish people.

The committee is strictly nonpolitical, supporting and working with all nonpolitical Zionist organizations, as well as synagogues, with Israel programming and programming in support of the Jewish people worldwide.
