For the last two decades, this committee has served as the focal point in Sonoma County on issues related to Israel and the fate of Jewish people throughout the world. The purpose is CLEAR: Communicate, Learn, Educate others about Israel, Advocate for the Jewish people and Respond to antisemitism.

Activities are held throughout the year. Annually, in conjunction with local synagogues and temples, the committee organizes the countywide celebration of Israel’s Independence Day as well as a countywide memorial for those who died in service to the Jewish people. Also provides programming related to antisemitism and on other matters affecting the Jewish people.

The committee is strictly nonpolitical, supporting and working with all nonpolitical Zionist organizations, as well as synagogues, in planning Israel programming and programming in support of the Jewish people worldwide.
