Founded in 1861, Temple Emanu-El was the first Jewish congregation in Santa Clara Valley and is one of the oldest Reform congregations on the West Coast. With this rich history, the congregation is uniquely rooted in tradition while firmly committed to making our Jewish heritage and values relevant to our lives today. As an integral part of the Jewish community for more than 160 years, it continues to evolve to meet the changing needs of the members.
