Adamah (which means earth in Hebrew) offers a wide range of programs that integrate the practices of Jewish tradition, sustainable agriculture, mindfulness and social action. Programs include: • Summer camp for youth ages 3 to 10. • Shabbat and Jewish holiday celebrations, for youth and families as well as adults. • Hands-on educational programs for students from both Jewish and public preschool through high schools. • A three-month residential leadership program: Each spring, summer and fall, 14 young adults from across the country and beyond are selected to operate the farm in a program that integrates organic farming, social action, and progressive Jewish living and learning. All produce grown on the farm is distributed to members of the community in need, through a weekly Free Food Farm Stand.
