Cultivates vibrant Jewish life in deep connection with the earth through Jewish environmental education, immersive experiences, youth empowerment programs and climate action in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Wilderness Torah, now part of Adamah SF, is carrying on its mission in the East Bay to promote healing, belonging, and resilience through awakening and celebrating earth-based Jewish traditions with inclusive and intergenerational village-building.

Jewish life is at its most vibrant when we gather in community and in deep relationship with the earth. By bringing together the soulful spirit of Wilderness Torah with Adamah’s powerful national programs, the organization is planting new seeds for Jewish connection, climate action, and cultural renewal across the Bay Area. With the Bay Area’s rich history of innovation, leadership in the green sector, and vibrant Jewish community, this is a great place to grow this new hub. This is just the beginning of a mission to cultivate a thriving future where tradition, care for our planet, innovation and community come alive.

Together with the Jewish Federation Bay Area, JCCs across the area and Camp Newman, this organization is strengthening our communal resiliency in the face of global uncertainty.
