Lecture and dinner for healing the heart

Jennifer Raymond, who wrote "The Peaceful Palate," will speak on "Open Your Heart to Healing," a program on reversing heart disease, at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 19.

It will be held at Albert L. Schultz Jewish Community Center, 655 Arastradero Road, Palo Alto.
