Israeli lecturer to speak on Kabbalah at Orthodox Minyan

Jerusalem lecturer and author Rabbi Nathan T. Lopes Cardoza will speak on "The Primordial Torah: A Kabbalistic Idea Which Explains Several Fundamental Jewish Concepts" at 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 29 at Palo Alto Orthodox Minyan, 260 Sheridan Ave., Lower Level B-18.

Cardoza, whose current book is titled "Between Silence and Speech, Essays in Jewish Thought," has lectured for nearly 20 years at Yeshivat Ohr Somayach, Michlala Woman's College and Israel-Light, all in Jerusalem.
