Correspondent | November 24, 1995 Unterman, who owns Hayes Street Grill, will prepare and spread chopped chicken liver from organically raised chickens on Semifreddi's freshly baked challah. Mollie Katzen, who wrote "Moosewood Cookbook" and "Pretend Soup and Other Real Recipes," will sign her books. Ellis Island Band will entertain with klezmer music. A silent auction will take place at 4:30 p.m. Some of the participating restaurants include Lulu Bis/Lulu Cafe, Katia's Russian Restaurant, Stoyanof's Restaurant, David's Deli, San Francisco Art Institute Cafe, Toy Boat Cafe, Peet's Coffee and Tea, Holey Bagel and Shenson's Delicatessen. The fair is a fund-raising event sponsored by the Montefiore Senior Center, which provides services to older adults including hot lunches six days a week. Proceeds will benefit Montefiore programs.
