Rabbi recalled at Am Echad
Congregation Am Echad will observe yahrzeit, the anniversary of the death of Rav Avraham Haim Lapin, at 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 10 at 1504 Meridian Ave., San Jose.

ORT staffs Hillsdale gift store
The Northern California Peninsula Region Women’s American ORT is staffing a gift-wrapping store in San Mateo’s Hillsdale Shopping Center through Dec. 24.
The store, open during mall hours, is located on the second floor next to Victoria’s Secret, across from Emporium.
Proceeds will support and maintain various ORT programs.
