Kindergarten kids should register early
Yavneh Day School in Los Gatos is accepting early registration for the 1996-97 school year.

Peninsula JCC plans sojourn to Yosemite
The Peninsula Jewish Com-munity Center will sponsor a trip to Yosemite National Park from May 7 to 10.
Accommodations are at Yose-mite Lodge. Transportation is by motor coach.
Four meals, including dinner at the Ahwahnee, and a Yosemite Valley tour, are included in the price of $450 per person, double occupancy.

Ahavas Torah is selling shmurah Pesach matzah
Matzah that is shmurah means it has been supervised by a rabbi, beginning at the time of harvest and continuing through the storage of the flour and the baking process.
Ahavas Torah is selling hand-baked shmurah matzahs, called King David’s Seder Matzos, in time for Passover. Cost is $12 per pound. One-pound and 2-pound boxes are available.
The San Jose synagogue also offers gift boxes containing four matzahs for $7, whole wheat or regular.

Purim ball features gaming
A royal Purim costume ball featuring Monte Carlo gaming and dessert buffet will take place from 7:30 p.m. to midnight Saturday, March 9 at Peninsula Sinai Congregation, 499 Boothbay Ave., Foster City.
