Marin parenting classes to start next month

Parents Place Marin announces new classes for June, beginning with Mothers of Under Ones (Birth to 12 Months) at 10 a.m. Monday, June 3 and continuing through July 22. Cost is $80 for eight sessions.

Raising a Spirited Child will take place at 7 p.m. Monday, June 3. Cost is $15 per person, $25 per couple.

Effective Discipline will convene at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, at $15 per person, $25 per couple.

Toilet Learning is scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday, June 24. Cost is $15 per person, $25 per couple.

Winemakers to offer new book and wine

Winemaker Robert Mondavi and his wife, Margrit Biever Mondavi, who is vice president of Robert Mondavi Winery, will present their book "Seasons of the Vineyard" at 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 12 at Marin Jewish Community Center, 200 N. San Pedro Road, San Rafael.

Narsai David of KCBS Radio and KTVU-TV will interview the pair. A winetasting of newly-released Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir will follow.
