The principal with the Certified Public Accounting firm of Rich and Kornetsky is a member of the board of delegates of the Jewish Community Federation of the Greater East Bay, and the board of directors of the Jewish Community Relations Committee of the East Bay.

An active member of Congregation Beth Sholom, Kornetsky also belongs to the Bar Association of San Francisco.

Second Walk for Water is set for June 9

The second annual Bay to Bagels/Walk for Water to raise money for Israel's water projects will take place Sunday, June 9 in San Francisco.

Cosponsored by the Jewish National Fund and the Jewish Bulletin of Northern California, the 5K walk will begin at 9:30 a.m. in Yerba Buena Gardens, Third and Mission Streets.

Participants will stride along the Embarcadero and return to the park by noon, in time for the community Jerusalem 3000/Israel Independence Day celebration.

Organizations sponsoring a walking team that raises at least $5,000 will have a plaque with the group's name placed at a location in Israel. JNF will arrange a dedication ceremony for the group's members when they next visit Israel.
