The attack on Yigal Amir's house damaged a fence, but caused no injuries. No suspects were caught.

The incident came a day after vandals spray-painted anti-Yitzhak Rabin graffiti on a memorial to the slain prime minister in Jerusalem.

The outlawed group Kach claimed responsibility for the anti-Rabin incident.

Kach said it was retaliating against proposed legislation to remove a memorial at the grave of Dr. Baruch Goldstein, who murdered 29 Muslim worshippers.
