Bring your appetite: good noshing aplenty

So, what’s to eat?

Lots, according to Dina Jacobson, To Life artists and food coordinator.

Look for Mediterranean cuisine such as baba ghanoush, tabouleh and vegetarian falafel, as well as old-fashioned Jewish fare such as knishes. And kosher hot dogs, burgers and other grilled foods will once again be prepared and served by rabbis from the South Bay’s Jewish Study Network.

Also available will be Salvadoran pupusas (stuffed corn tortillas) and a veritable “vegetable smorgasbord.”

Dessert treats include gourmet ice cream sandwiches, shaved ice and typical “carny grub food,” Jacobson said.
