Go, Haifa!
The Golden State Warriors are gearing up for their regular season, and to help iron out the kinks they’ll take on a special opponent: Maccabi Haifa, one of Israel’s oldest professional teams. While the Haifa players might need something of a Maccabian miracle to stop the likes of Warriors Steph Curry and Andrew Bogut, it should be exciting enough to root for a professional team from Israel in the Bay Area.
