When ‘Shalom’ meets ‘Hallelujah!’

To celebrate the spiritual side of the season, Vocolot, the women’s a cappella group that sings world and Jewish music in English, Hebrew, Ladino, Yiddish and Arabic, will perform with the Stars of Glory, an African-American gospel women’s group from Richmond. The event, presented by former Bay Area journalist Bill Schechner, is in its second year; and as was the case last year, dancing in the aisles is encouraged.
