Kung Pao lives

Lisa Geduldig told j. last week that she founded the venerable Kung Pao Kosher Comedy as a one-time thing. But 20 years later, there’s still demand for mu shu and Jewish humor at this time of year. From Dec. 22 to 25, comedians Judy Gold, Scott Blakeman, Mike Capozzola and Geduldig herself will take the stage at the New Asia Restaurant in Chinatown. Warning: Chew your dumplings first before you laugh.
