Correspondent | April 2, 2015 Israeli singer Yonatan Geffen was attacked March 21 for comments he made lamenting Benjamin Netanyahu’s election victory. The following day, Noa, a singer and outspoken peace activist, said she was verbally threatened and abused because of her politics. An unidentified individual tried to hit Geffen, pelted his house with eggs and called him a “leftist traitor” after the singer posted on Facebook that Netanyahu’s March 17 election victory was the “Nakba” (Arabic for “catastrophe), the Israeli daily Haaretz reported.
