Hello, my name is Audrey. I like to make cartoons.

While working for the paper, it occurred to me that it is extremely difficult to make a Jewish slice-of-life comic that doesn’t degenerate into thinly veiled political commentary, and also is actually funny. Figured it couldn’t be that hard and that I should give it a try.

So I made this — Sarah & Abra, two young Jewish ladies in the city. They’ve appeared off and on in J. for a little while now, so this seemed the logical next move.

Enjoy their adventures in street furniture, inadvisable liquor consumption, synagogue-based dating and the general demands of modern life. So far, I like it. I hope you like it too.
