JVS is taking its show on the road. The S.F.-based agency that helps job seekers find employment has scheduled many free workshops at the JCC of San Francisco, the Peninsula JCC in Foster City and Jewish Family and Children’s Services of the East Bay in Berkeley.
The workshops have titles such as “Job Search Planning,” “Developing Your Pitch” and “Resume Essentials.” Most are scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays. For a complete schedule, visit www.bit.ly/jvs-workshops.
In addition, JVS, also known as Jewish Vocational Service, offers resources aplenty at its offices at 225 Bush St., S.F. For more information, visit www.jvs.org or call (415) 391-3600.
One upcoming program allows midlevel job seekers to engage in mock interviews. It’s set for 2 to 5 p.m. Sept. 29. Some of the interviewers will be volunteers from the S.F.-based Jewish Community Federation’s Business Leadership Council.
