Bay Area parents seeking information about preschools for their children can find a smorgasbord of options at Preschool Preview Night, San Francisco’s largest annual exhibition of preschools.
The event takes place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22 at the San Francisco County Fair Building (Hall of Flowers) in Golden Gate Park.
The preschool exposition featuring scores of representatives from San Francisco preschools, along with other young child-centered exhibitors, is hosted and organized by Parents Place, the family resource center division of S.F.-based Jewish Family and Children’s Services.
Preschool Preview Night gives parents an opportunity to speak one-on-one with local, knowledgeable authorities about the array of preschool options available to families throughout San Francisco.
Preschool Preview Night “provides moms, dads, grandparents and other caregivers with a very real sense of what each preschool has to offer and what would be the ‘best fit’ for their children,” said Mechele Pruitt, director of Parents Place in San Francisco.
Unlike in the past, this year’s exhibit is for adults only; complimentary appetizers will be available. The event is sponsored by a number of community organizations.
