“Dough” with baker Jonathan Pryce and apprentice Jerome Holder

Film fest starts on a high note. Opening night of the 21st East Bay International Jewish Film Festival rises on a light note with “Dough,” a comedy about a struggling kosher baker in London whose Muslim apprentice has a recipe for success: marijuana. The newly independent 10-day festival runs in Pleasant Hill and Livermore.
