Iraq and Israel, a natural pairing. An evening of Mizrahi food, film and art will celebrate “Not Forgotten,” an exhibit of collage and multimedia works by Erella Teitler about the lives of Sephardic and Mizrahi Jews from the Middle East and North Africa. A kosher buffet dinner of Israeli food infused with Iraqi flavors will be followed by a screening of “The Dove Flyer,” a drama depicting the Jewish community that thrived in Iraq until the 1950s. Presented by the Osher Marin JCC, JIMENA and the Israeli Consulate.
