Hillel’s mission is to enhance the lives of Jewish students by building a strong campus community that inspires and empowers them to contribute to Jewish life beyond college. Provides experiences that strengthen Jewish identity, foster meaningful connections and celebrate Jewish heritage. Also serves as a resource for the broader campus community, advocating for Jewish causes and concerns both on and off campus.

This chapter serves thousands of students in the Davis and Sacramento area and welcomes alumni, parents, grandparents and community members. Offers a wide range of educational, social, spiritual, cultural and tzedek (social action) programs. No membership required. All food served at Hillel is kosher and plentiful, including Shabbat dinner every Friday evening, free brunch on Tuesdays and snacks Monday through Friday during the academic year.
