Temple Sinai’s youth education programs serve students from transitional kindergarten through 12th grade, offering developmentally appropriate Jewish learning rooted in community, values, and relationship-building.

Kesher (TK–5) introduces young learners and their families to Jewish life through a combination of play-based exploration, ritual practice, and social-emotional learning. Students engage with holidays, Hebrew, and core Jewish values such as tikkun olam (repairing the world) and derech eretz (respectful behavior), while building foundational connections to Jewish community and tradition.

Kesher 2.0 (Grades 6–8) supports middle school students as they deepen their Jewish identity. The program integrates text learning, Jewish values, and facilitated conversation, creating space for students to explore questions of belonging, responsibility, and ethical decision-making. Learning is complemented by community experiences, retreats, and service opportunities.

Teen Programs (Grades 9–12) provide multiple pathways for continued engagement, including leadership as madrichol (teen teaching assistants), social programming, and opportunities for Jewish learning and service. Teens develop leadership skills, mentor younger students, and participate in programs that foster connection to Jewish life and community.

Across all grade levels, the synagogue’s educational approach emphasizes relationship-centered learning, Hebrew engagement, and the cultivation of a meaningful and evolving Jewish identity.
