This East Bay congregation is an inclusive, multigenerational community rooted in joyful Judaism, lifelong Jewish learning, tikkun olam and climate action. Welcoming individuals and families from all backgrounds.
Community is the heart of this congregation. Congregants show up for one another with compassion, curiosity and a shared sense of responsibility. Spiritual life is vibrant and accessible, offering multiple pathways into prayer, music, reflection and connection. Services are participatory and educational, encouraging exploration, questions and personal meaning-making.
Shabbat is joyful and diverse. From lively family Shabbat to traditional Saturday morning services and a Big Shabbat filled with music to outdoor and alternative experiences, the synagogue creates many entry points into sacred time within the community. Gatherings help people of all ages feel at home in Jewish ritual and community.
Joyful Jewish education programs for all ages. From preschool for ages 2-5, and afterschool, Hebrew school and summer camp for TK-5th grades; to a robust b’nai mitzvah journey for 6th-7th grades, and teen programs for 8th-12th grades; to accessible, in-depth adult learning: The community offers opportunities for all.
This is a congregation of learners and doers, committed to justice, sustainability and the well‑being of Jewish communities locally and globally. Whether one seeks spiritual grounding, friendship, learning or a place to belong, this congregation invites people to find a home in this “village.”
