Rory, Learning Channel host, will perform
“Read, Set, Learn” host Rory, whose program appears on the Learning Channel, will present a concert at 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 10 at Contra Costa Jewish Community Center, 2071 Tice Valley Blvd., Walnut Creek.
The singer describes his music as “kidrock,” a blend of pop, jazz, blues and oldies. His first album, “I’m Just a Kid,” won a Parents’ Choice Award for best children’s recording. For tickets, which are $8, call (510) 938-7800.
