Trains the next generation of Jewish philanthropists and leaders through learning about communal issues, vetting nonprofits, fundraising, and awarding grants to nonprofits serving people in the community and beyond. Open to Bay Area local, Jewish-identifying teens in grades 9-12 (and 10-12 for leadership positions). Teens get energized by taking on the work of addressing their generation’s major social issues that are usually only reserved for the adults—all while exploring new concepts, finding meaning and gaining confidence in their own ability to effect change.
