Dear Minna-Rae,

We are trying to include our parents’ names on the invitation to our wedding this fall. It will be a casual type of event and both sides of the family will be co-hosting. In addition, my parents are divorced and Dad is remarried, so there are a lot of names. How can we list them all without having it look like some roster?

Dear Name Gamers,

Since you are planning an informal invitation style, a suggested wording might be “Rejoice with us as our children Jane and Gerald are joined in marriage at the (Place, date and time here). We look forward to sharing our Simcha with you in an afternoon of feasting and dancing.” Greta Cohen, Gary Cohen, Anne and Maurice Suskind
