Safire is a member of an ad hoc committee calling for the reopening of the case. The committee includes a private investigator, lawyers, clergy and others.
The forum, sponsored by Sherith Israel’s Social Action Committee, will take place at 7:45 p.m. next Friday, March 10 at the synagogue, California and Webster streets, S.F.
Speakers will include Jeff Adachi, chief attorney of the S.F. Public Defender’s Office and an attorney for Tennison; Damone Hale, a member of the S.F. Juvenile Justice Commission; and Kamala Harris, supervisor of the Career Criminal Unit of the S.F. District Attorney’s Office.
