Correspondent | May 5, 2006 A new Jewish summer camp is making its debut this summer just north of the California border. Camp Gesher — the result of a partnership between Havurah Shir Hadash, a Renewal community, and Temple Emek Shalom, a Reform congregation — will open its gates in Ashland, Ore. The day camp will take place for one week from Aug. 7 to 11, serving children in kindergarten through fifth grade. Camp Gesher will have three groups of campers divided by grade levels: K-1, 2-3 and 4-5.
