A new Jewish summer camp is making its debut this summer just north of the California border.

Camp Gesher — the result of a partnership between Havurah Shir Hadash, a Renewal community, and Temple Emek Shalom, a Reform congregation — will open its gates in Ashland, Ore.

The day camp will take place for one week from Aug. 7 to 11, serving children in kindergarten through fifth grade.

Camp Gesher will have three groups of campers divided by grade levels: K-1, 2-3 and 4-5.

Camp applications, as well as counselor applications, are available by emailing Judy Visser of Temple Emek Shalom at [email protected] or calling her at (541) 488-2909. You may also email Ayala Zonnenschein of Havurah Shir Hadash at [email protected] or call her at (541) 488-7716.
