B’nai B’rith Camp, located on the Oregon coast, is offering several new spring break and summer programs for campers looking for an adventurous getaway.
With the new “Chakor Sessions,” campers can bike down the coast with Chakor Bike, hike through the Oregon wilderness with Chakor Hike, explore the world of marine biology and camp under the stars with Chakor Coastal Adventures, or enjoy the world of fine arts with Chakor Arts.
Chakor Redwoods, an exploration of Northwest redwood forests, will take place during spring break.
The Chakor summer programs are available for campers entering eighth through 11th grades, and Chakor Redwoods is available for sixth- through 11th-graders. The sessions last between five and eight days.
“We’re excited to offer these high quality Chakor programs, which will meet the needs of those campers seeking a more challenging and adventurous summer experience,” said B’nai B’rith Camp Director Michelle Koplan. “By expanding our programming, we hope that more campers will have the opportunity to get a taste of this life-changing Jewish camping experience.”
