Correspondent | July 27, 2007 Seventy-six exemplary Jewish educators from across North America will receive this year’s Grinspoon-Steinhardt Awards for Excellence in Jewish Education. The Harold Grinspoon Foundation and Jewish Life Network/Steinhardt Foundation, in partnership with JESNA, the Jewish Education Service of North America, selected classroom teachers in 49 communities to receive the awards. No Bay Area educators are on the list. Each winner has been in the field for at least three years and teaches within the areas of early childhood education or day school and/or congregational school, grades K-12. Recipients receive a cash prize and will be honored at the United Jewish Communities’ General Assembly in November 2007 in Nashville, Tenn. For more information, go to www.grinspoonsteinhardt.org J.
