San Francisco comedian Nato Green will perform live stand-up at 7 p.m. Aug. 6 as part of the monthly Oy Vey! Thurs-days program at the Contem-porary Jewish Museum.
“Vinyl Tap: Jewish Comedy Past and Present” will include comedy bits inspired by classic comedy LPs on display in the museum’s “Jews on Vinyl” exhibit. Milton Berle, Allan Sherman and Sophie Tucker are among those celebrated in the piece.
Green was featured in Sketch Fest 2008, hosted Heeb magazine’s “Heeb Storytelling” event earlier this year and produces the Jewish comedy showcase “New Jew Revue.” Oy Vey! Thursdays are held the first Thursday of each month and include music and cocktails for young adults.
