Correspondent | October 16, 2009 “Off and Running,” a documentary about an adopted daughter of Jewish lesbians who struggles to connect with her African-American roots, will screen at the San Francisco Doc Fest Film Festival. The screening is at 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 18, at the Roxie Film Center, 3117 16th St., S.F. Directed by Nicole Opper, “Off and Running” explores race, identity and family as the film’s subject attempts to contact her birth mother.
