Jewish music artist RebbeSoul will perform two Bay Area concerts next month — one at Berkeley’s Chochmat HaLev on Dec. 5 and one at Foster City’s Peninsula Sinai Congregation the following day.
Born Bruce Berger, the singer-songwriter blends Hebrew melodies with contemporary world fusion sounds. He has released four CDs and toured around North America, Europe and Israel, where he now lives. Locally he has performed several times at the Union Square menorah lighting in San Francisco.
RebbeSoul will perform 7:30 p.m. Dec. 5 at Chochmat HaLev, 2215 Prince St., in Berkeley. He will also perform 4 p.m. Dec. 6 at Peninsula Sinai Congregation, 499 Boothbay Ave., Foster City.
