A new Jewish-themed play, “Seder,” will have its premiere staged reading on Wednesday, Dec. 9 at the 142 Throckmorton Theatre in Mill Valley. The dramatic comedy was written Jonathan Luskin of San Francisco.
Set at the Faber family Passover seder, the play includes everything from interfaith marriage and bootlegging gangsters to secret relationships that threaten to derail the family business. Luskin has directed many local theater productions and is a winner of the Goodman Choice Award; his plays have been produced for the Best of Playground and the Bay Area Playwrights Festival.
