The stars of the Fox television series “House” are expected to visit Israel as part of a series of projects launched by the Foreign and Tourism ministries in a bid to promote tourism to the Holy Land.

According to information obtained by Ynetnews.com, the group of actors — not including the program’s star, Hugh Laurie, who plays Dr. Gregory House — will visit several of Israel’s main tourist attractions.

Sources in the Tourism Ministry recently approached the Foreign Ministry’s Division for Cultural and Scientific Affairs in a bid to coordinate the visit.

A Foreign Ministry spokesperson confirmed to Ynet that talks were being held with the actors, who had expressed an interest in visiting the country, but that a final confirmation for their arrival had yet to be received.

“House,” which debuted on Fox in 2004, is in its seventh season. — ynetnews.com
