Oakland’s Temple Beth Abraham will stage a fundraising concert starring its own congregants in performance. The first “Sound of All of Us” concert takes place at 4 p.m. Dec. 11 in the sanctuary. Proceeds will support youth music programs at the synagogue and in Oakland schools through the Oakland East Bay Symphony’s Music for Excellence program.

Among the performers will be the ragtime band Hobo Paradise, featuring Ben Bernstein; Cantor Richard Kaplan; Cantor Jennie Chabon and Shir Joy; Three Ring Circus, featuring the San Francisco Symphony hornist Jonathan Ring and his sons; opera singer Alicia von Kugelgen; singer and guitarist Denise Davis; and Rabbi Mark Bloom singing original songs.

Latkes, falafel and drinks will be available for purchase. Tickets are $25 for adults; kids are free. Temple Beth Abraham is located at 327 MacArthur Blvd. in Oakland. For information, call (510) 832-0936 or visit
