Several bands and solo artists will take the stage at a musical Chanukah celebration at the JCC of the East Bay in Berkeley. The event is set for 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, the third night of Chanukah.

The evening begins with a candlelighting and is followed by a sing-along, performances and dancing to live music.

Scheduled performers include Bay Area folk ensemble Adama; Gerry Tenney and his band singing bluegrass-style Chanukah, Yiddish and Beatles tunes; and opera singer Heather Klein, who will perform Yiddish folk songs.
