Correspondent | January 20, 2012 Rabbi Ken Lipman, a former Buddhist and a scholar of Asian religions, will talk about his new book at Afikomen Judaica in Berkeley on Jan. 29. “Kingdoms of Experience: The Four Worlds of Kabbalah as Prayer and Meditation” is geared toward both beginning and practiced meditators. It was written by Lipman, who teaches Jewish history at Oakland Hebrew Day School, as a guide for Jews and others seeking a new approach to prayer and meditation.
