Correspondent | January 20, 2012 A six-part discussion group based on Wendy Mogel’s book “The Blessing of a B Minus: Using Jewish Teachings to Raise Resilient Teenagers” begins Jan. 31 at the Osher Marin JCC, 200 N. San Pedro Road in San Rafael. Led by Rabbi Stacy Friedman and educator Vicky Kelman, the group will address the challenges of parenting teenagers. It is aimed at helping families with children in grades 6 to 12 develop tools that will help teenagers become resilient and self-reliant young adults. The group will meet from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays, Jan. 31, Feb. 7, 14, 28, March 6 and 13. Cost is $36 per parent or $50 for both. The group is sponsored by Women of Rodef Sholom and Congregation Rodef Sholom. Space is limited and reservations are recommended.
