John and Marcia Goldman Funds raised will go toward providing financial assistance to the JCC’s preschool, daycare and day camp, as well as senior services and other programs. The Goldmans have been lead donors to the Taube Koret Campus for Jewish Life in Palo Alto and generous supporters of the Oshman Family JCC and the Marcia & John Goldman Teen Center on the campus. The couple’s family foundation has been making grants for 14 years in arts and culture, research and services for autism and autoimmune disorders, and support for underserved and at-risk youth. “Their lifelong example of thoughtful philanthropy has benefited so many in our community, and we look forward to celebrating their outstanding leadership,” said Zack Bodner, CEO of the Palo Alto JCC. Raffle tickets are on sale; the grand prize donated by Stephen Silver Fine Jewelry in Menlo Park is valued at $15,000. Other prizes include a luxury suite for 16 at a San Francisco Giants game and a Las Vegas vacation package. Tickets for the gala are sold out.
