After 22 years in Union Square, George Krevsky Gallery is moving across the bay.
The gallery at 77 Geary St. in San Francisco will close Saturday, March 1 and relocate to the Rockridge area of Oakland. Krevsky Fine Art Services will operate by appointment only (the website will remain the same, www.georgekrevskygallery.com).
A longtime member and supporter of the BayArea Jewish community, Krevsky was honored by Hebrew Free Loan Association in 2011. He has been a regular donor to HFLA since receiving assistance after he and his wife, Doris, lost their home in the 1991 Oakland fire.
